La Galleria Overfoto inaugura nella sede di Second Life TERRA PAINTING, ultima mostra di Comet Morigi, artista/avatar che lavorando direttamente sulla conformazione geologica dell'ambiente naturale- virtuale, ne trasfigura la composizione, modificandone i connotati morfologici originarii attraverso un'operazione di land-art che traduce così lo spazio stesso che normalmente ospiterebbe l'esposizione, in opera d'arte a tutti gli effetti.
"Inword non è l'opposto della vita reale,ma un tipo di vita reale. Perché non diciamo OutWorld invece di Real Life? Diversamente, perdiamo la realtà del perché facciamo arte Inworld. In questo lavoro, vi mostro perché dovremmo chiamarla Outworld, invece di Real Life. Inworld, tutto è fatto di immagini. Il suolo e il cielo, ogni creatura, le case, gli abiti, i nostri corpi, tutto. Editiamo il terreno come se stessimo dipingendo con un pennello sul suolo. Qui, espongo quelli che vengono chiamati Terra-Painting." Comet Morigi

Galleria Overfoto opens in its Second Life branch with TERRA PAINTING, last exhibition by Comet Morigi, artist/avatar who, working directly on the geological conformation of natural- virtual environment, transfigures its composition and changes its original morphological features through a land-art operation that translates the same space which normally hosts the exhibition, in a piece of art in all respects.
"The inworld is NOT the opposite to Real Life BUT rather a type of Real Life. Why don't you say OutWorld instead of Real Life (RL)? Otherwise, you will lose the reality of why you do art inworld. Here in this work, you will see why you should call it OutWorld, not Real Life. Inworld, everything is made of pictures. The ground and the sky, every creature, houses, clothes, our bodies, everything. You terrain-edit as if you are painting with a brush on the ground. Here, I exhibit the so-called Terra-Painting." インワールド「この世界」とは、RL「現実生活」の対に無く、むしろ現実の一形態である。もし私たちが「現実生活」をアウトワールド「外界」と呼ばなければ、「この世界」の芸術は意味を失う。なぜ、「現実生活」ではなく「外界」と呼ぶべきかを、本作からご覧頂こう。
「この世界」では、あらゆるものが絵で出来ている。天地・生物・衣食住・身体、何もかも。人は、まるで大地に絵筆を走らせるかのごとく、土地を造成する。そこに私は、いわゆる地画を提示しよう。
